Peter joined Cox Yeats in 1991 and is experienced in combatting white collar crime, fraud and corruption, and asset recovery. He has served as Chairman of the Safety and Justice Committee of the Durban Chamber of Commerce and was chairperson of the KwaZulu-Natal White Collar Crime Task Team for a number of years. Peter currently serves on a SAPOA Forum which is promoting Urban Improvement Precincts in the greater Durban area. He is also a member the Disciplinary Tribunal of the KZN Rugby Union.

Peter has served on the board of Governors of Hilton College, and has been Chairman of his Parish Council. He is further involved in pro bono work as a Director on the Board of the Essenwood Residence, a non-profit company which owns and manages a retirement residence for ladies in Durban.
