DURBAN – As the new school year once again resumed for students, it soon became a reality that Covid19 was here to stay. The need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the matric students of Amaoti No 3 Secondary School, remained as real as it had been during 2020.
Cox Yeats is committed to assisting the 2021 matric students to continue their studies safely, to enable them to matriculate come the year end. The firm has supported the school through various initiatives, as well as PPE for the 2020 matric learners.
Once again the firm came to the aide of the school and donated 171 face masks to their 2021 matric students. “A primary focus of the firm’s social responsibility is education,” said Andrew Clark, Managing Partner. “Every matric student should have the opportunity to complete this very important year of their schooling, to the best of their ability, and safely. We are pleased to be able to help the 2021 Amaoti No 3 matric students to achieving this goal.”
“We are so grateful for the face masks (PPE) which Cox Yeats has once again donated for our matric students. This will enable them to continue safely attending their classes without fear of becoming infected. The students and teachers thank you for helping us to protect our learners during these challenging times,” said Principal, Gugulethu Maphumulo.
