He began his legal career at Deneys Reitz in 2002 and subsequently spent six years in-house at Momentum, where he developed strong commercial and operational insight. He joined Cox Yeats in 2013 and was appointed as a Partner in 2014.
Randhir advises clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including business and company law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and empowerment and transformation structures. He works with clients across various industries, including construction, FMCG, and insurance, providing strategic advice on commercial transactions and regulatory compliance, including the Companies Act.
In the healthcare sector, he advises medical schemes, administrators, managed healthcare organisations, and medical equipment manufacturers on both commercial and regulatory matters. His experience includes representing clients within the medical schemes industry on a range of operational and compliance issues.
Within the construction, engineering and infrastructure sector, Randhir focuses on front-end contract work, including the drafting and negotiation of principal building agreements under JBCC, GCC, NEC, and FIDIC frameworks, as well as development agreements, lease agreements, consultant agreements (PROCSA), and project finance arrangements.
