Megan is a Senior Associate at Cox Yeats, practising in Banking and Finance, with a focus on Insolvency and Business Rescue.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Communication Science from UNISA and an LL.B, and was admitted as an attorney in 2019 after completing her articles at a Durban-based law firm. Following her admission, she practised as an Associate at another Durban firm, gaining experience in litigation, banking and insolvency, family law, and medical law.
Megan joined Cox Yeats in 2021 and forms part of the Insolvency and Business Rescue team. She has extensive post-admission experience in commercial litigation, with exposure to matters before the Supreme Court of Appeal, High Court, and Magistrates’ Courts.
Her practice focuses on banking and finance, business rescue and restructuring, insolvency, and insurance law. She regularly acts for major banks, corporate entities, liquidators, insurers, and private individuals.
