Anele is an associate in the Business Rescue, Restructuring and Insolvency team at Cox Yeats, based in Johannesburg.
He began his legal career at a reputable KwaZulu-Natal firm, where he gained broad experience across civil litigation, dispute resolution and banking law. During this time, he also advised on matters within the environmental, health and safety spheres.
Anele later moved in-house as a legal advisor to a Pietermaritzburg-based company, where he provided comprehensive legal support, including drafting and reviewing agreements and advising on regulatory compliance.
He subsequently returned to private practice in Gauteng, joining a Sandton-based law firm where he played a key role in advising a major financial institution on a range of legal matters.
Anele now applies this multi-disciplinary experience in his role at Cox Yeats, advising clients on business rescue, restructuring and insolvency matters. He continues to work closely with financial institutions while remaining active in dispute resolution and insolvency-related matters.
